Ignitor Replacement

Before we fried the starter in 2009 the engine suddenly developed a problem with the ignition system. The ignition became very tempremental, sometimes it would fire and sometimes not.

After pulling the box and finding we still had good HT we pulled the plug and discovered it was shot.

Thankfully my very kind contact in the states put me in touch with an acquaintance of his who owned a couple of WR27-1s that he was parting out. A week later and I had an almost-new ignitor plug to play with.

Old ignitor at bottom, no idea why it has circular machining marks on it.
