Isotov GTD-350

 

I acquired this engine late in 2008. It was looking a bit sorry for itself resting on its side, and more than a bit grubby.

The engine is essentially complete, the oil-pressure sensor is missing and a few bent pipes need replacing, but apart from that (and a good clean) the engine should be in a runnable condition.

The GTD 350 was used, in pairs, in the Russian MI-2 'Hoplite' helicopter and is very similar to the American Allison 250 in design with a folded gas-path.
